You apply to Gonzaga through the Common App. Nursing works differently:
- Nursing. Direct admission for first-year applicants only: apply by the Early Action deadline of November 15 and choose nursing as your major on the application, with an extra nursing short answer question. Applications after November 15 are considered for the nursing waitlist. Admission is competitive, and you cannot change your major to nursing after you enroll.

Testing
For students applying in fall 2026, entering fall 2027
Gonzaga does not require the SAT or ACT, and applicants without a score have the same access to admission, automatic merit scholarships, direct admission to nursing and the Honors Program. Two exceptions: homeschooled students with fewer than 30 semester or 45 quarter hours of college coursework must send an SAT or ACT, and international students must show English proficiency with a test score. If you send scores, Gonzaga combines your best section scores across test dates.
