Is Stratia free to start?
Yes. Free, no card: build your profile, map the majors your record supports, and see your honest odds — Reach, Target, or Safety — at all 248 universities. A plan only comes in when you take a school deep (its full fit read, per-major chances from the official catalog, and your listing strategy) or want essay help. Every plan includes every feature; plans differ only in how many schools you take deep.
How do you figure out my odds at a school?
We line your own record — GPA, test scores, course rigor, activities, and your intended major — up against who each school actually admits, including in-state advantages and whether your major is capped or impacted. You get a clear band (Reach / Target / Safety) with the reasons shown, plus real self-reported outcomes from the last five admission cycles so you can see how students like you actually fared.
Does my major change my chances?
Often, a lot. The same school can be a Target for you overall and a Reach for the program you want — computer science, nursing, and business frequently admit far tougher than the university does. For every school we rank the majors it offers straight from its official catalog, flag which doors are open vs. capped, and give you a listing strategy: which major to put first, a second-choice play, and what your essays need to argue.
What do I actually get for a school I add?
One page with the whole picture: your fit factors and gaps, per-major chances with the school’s own entry policies (cited to its catalog), your listing strategy, essay angles pulled from your record, and the deadlines dropped onto your roadmap. There’s also “Find similar” to grow your list with same-major peers in your band, and a Decision Ledger to log real results as they arrive.
Can I use my own assistant, like ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. Connect ChatGPT or Claude once and it can work directly with your real Stratia data — your profile, list, deadlines, and outcomes — to research schools, compare options, and even update your analyses, saving everything back into your account. The Playbook gives you a deck of the sharpest questions to ask, one tap each.
Is my information private?
Yes. Your data is encrypted, it is never used to train public models, and we never sell or share your personal information. You can download everything we hold, and delete your account and data yourself - in Settings, instantly, any time.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel your Season Pass whenever you like from Settings. Anything left on your plan stays valid through the end of your billing period.
