Early action. OU has no early decision plan. Its early action plan closes November 1, is not binding and does not stop you applying early elsewhere; decisions are released on a rolling basis. The Common Data Set does not report how many applied or were admitted early, so it gives no early acceptance rate.

Programs with extra requirements

For students applying in fall 2026, entering fall 2027

You apply to OU, not to a college. The performing arts schools ask for more:

  • Dance, Drama, Music and Musical Theatre. Admission to OU plus a separate application to the school and an audition. The visual arts majors in the same college do not list an audition.

Majors

191 majors across 11 schools. Every bachelor's degree major in OU's official 2026-2027 General Catalog for the Norman campus, grouped by the college that offers it, with the degree it leads to. Minors, certificates, combined bachelor's and master's programs and graduate programs are left out.
